Flights to Taipei, Taiwan

Taipei is served by 2 international air facilities, Taipei Taoyuan Airport as well as Taipei Songshan Airport. Taipei Taoyuan Airport is the country’s biggest and busiest air transport hub, and the main port handling international air arrivals into Taiwan. Taipei Songshan Airport, on the other hand, is reserved for short-haul regional flights to and from nearby North Asian cities.班機動態實时査詢

Taipei Taoyuan Airport is situated about 50 kilometres from Taipei. A taxi ride from the airport to the city would take around 40 minutes and cost about NTD 900-1200 (SGD 39-52).
Taipei Songshan Airport is actually located within Taipei City itself, about 10 kilometres from the city centre. A taxi ride to the city should cost only around NTD 300 (SGD 13) and take 5-10 minutes.
Cheap Taipei Flights

Looking for cheap flights? Skyscanner does the legwork so you don’t have to - our search spiders scour the Internet to find the cheapest flight fares across countless online travel agents and airlines, and match them to your specific search criteria. Once you’ve shortlisted your favourite flights, you can also set up a price alert so you’ll immediately know when prices drop.

Best Time to Visit Taipei

Taipei enjoys excellent spring weather - temperatures are a cool and dry 20°C, rain is unlikely, and sunshine hours are numerous. This is an excellent time for hiking the city’s nearby mountains, exploring national parks and gardens, or soaking in natural outdoor hot springs. After spring, autumn is the next favourite season with tourists for similar reasons.

Taipei’s summer months from June to August are considered the city’s off-peak period for tourism, as the hot and muggy temperatures make outdoor activities uncomfortable to engage in. Most importantly, travellers are advised to avoid visiting the city during the typhoon-heavy months of June to September.
