Machine vision technology is an interdisciplinary subject involving many fields such as artificial intelligence, neurobiology, psychophysics, computer science, image processing, and pattern recognition. Optical components mainly use computers to simulate human visual functions, extract information from images of objective things, process them and understand them, and then use them for actual detection, measurement, and control. The outstanding features of machine vision solution technology are fast speed, large amount of information and many functions.
Definition of machine vision: Machine vision is the use of VUV, UV and IR grade MgF2 optics sensing devices to automatically receive and interpret images of real scenes to obtain information to control machines or processes. Machine vision solutions automatically extract information from digital images for process control or inspection of manufactured products.
