May I suggest MetroPCS to those of you who are *currently* inside the T-Mobile LTE coverage are who are reading this interested in wireless internet service providers. My summary is it's a low latency, high bandwidth network that may prove to be on par with DSL, satilite or cable. Time will tell.

It's prepaid. No contract. Just buy a phone to use as a modem. Listed right on the Huawei Vitria box is one of it's best features: tethering. And MetroPCS made it easy for the user with a quick launch icon located right on your home screen. Simply push the button to tether. It's officially supported.

Right. Officially supported via help desk in what sounds like India. After pushing the button a few times it would never load. I kept getting a pop up but no connection. So much for that. Call 611? No thanks. Lucky for me 3rd party tethering apps are in stock and ready for purchace on Google Play.

To get it all to work, for some reason I had to *fix* both my Android tablet and my Win7 Firefox laptop. I had to *repair* my user agent on both my android tablet build.prop and *repair* firefox using ua switcher. Stick to the legal paid apps on google play for peace of mind knowing what you installed is safe. Don't install the free flash light apps. Most of these are spyware.

The Huawei Vitria only cost me $50 on sale at bestbuy; free with $50 mail in rebate. I do like the quality of the phone. Snappy processor. Calls are clear. Loud ringer and speaker phone. Nice screen. Long battery life.

So far I've been able to connect all my home devices. The network has been fast, and the coverage is all over my town and city. It works everywhere I live, work and play. Already 10+ gigs and counting. Mainly for Netflix 1080 HD streams. So far so good. No lag. No drop outs. Just HD.
