To start, first plug High Speed HDMI Cable to the HDMI port at the backside of your Roku player. If you are connecting a Roku Stick, then it will get connected directly to an HDMI and doesn't require an HDMI cable for connection. If you are using an HDMI for audio, then you should the below mentioned steps:
1. Connect to the surround sound Compatible TV
2. Connect Roku streaming player or Stick to an available HDMI port on AVR or Sound bar.
3. Next, plug the High Speed HDMI cable HDMI port on your TV that supports ARC and make a connection of HDMI port on the AVR that supports ARC on the opposite end.

if you are using an Optical for Audio, then follow these steps:
1. Make a connection to the AVR and sound bar without HDMI ports. You can use this option when are not enough HDMI inputs on AVR or sound bar.
2. Next step is to initiate connection to an AVR or sound bar using optical for audio

If you are still unable to setup Roku Streaming player for Surround Sound then you can get help from Activate Channel Link experts. If you need instant help for you Roku activation code, then feel free to contact Toll-Free Roku support number.
