Kerala, the land of 'beauty and wild' presents amazing features with splendid natural beauty and landscapes. This tropical evergreen rain forest houses animals like endangered Nilgiri Tahr, Tiger, Leopards, Wild boars and butterflies and moths including the Atlas Moth, the largest specie of moth in the world.

Kerala wildlife sanctuaries are not only home to the most enthralling animal species, but also have the splendid surroundings and environment that make this place an escape for people who love to be amidst natural expanses and who love to be close to nature. Other than the given wildlife sanctuaries, some other national parks in Kerala are silent Valley National park, Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary and many more.

One can savor the virgin beauty and outstanding aerial, territorial and aquatic wildlife of Kerala through these wild expanses marked with the hues of lush green forests, vivid animals, colorful birds and splendid lakes.
