The face value of the missing tickets is $12,343, the report stated. There was no estimate as to the winnings from the tickets.The owner said he confronted the cashier, who said “she did play the scratch-offs but he could not be short that absurd amount of money,” the report stated.

The woman no longer works at the business. A police investigation has begun.
