As there can be multiple reasons for receiving such a glitch, I am going to mention them as I, too, came across the same issue. You must check for the name of your data file and if there are any spaces in between the name. Follow the further steps-

1. In the first step, you must make sure that you have logged out from QuickBooks on the host computer and each workstation.
2. Now, on the server computer, access the QB installation folder and go to the company file.
3. Next, right-click on the data file and opt for the ‘Rename’ option.
4. After that, you are required to check for any spaces in the file name.
5. If you see any space, remove it and hit the ‘Enter’ key to save the changes.
6. In the end, run your QuickBooks Desktop to verify if the glitch has been resolved or not.
