PE BAG

The choice of size and gauge of polyethylene bag when determining a new specification can be challenging. There are a few things to consider when calculating bag size. Matching bag dimensions to products isn't always intuitive. Visit www.bpbpak.com for more info.

A polyethylene bag may be flat or gusseted. A flat bag is two-dimensional, while a gusseted bag expands to provide depth. The length and width of a poly bag are measured flat. In real-world use, any expansion will reduce the bag's length, so you must add it to the length dimension to account for it.

You're likely to end up with useless polyethylene bags if you ignore either width or length. Gusseted bags typically eliminate this problem when they're properly matched to a product. Flat poly bags should always be compensated for both width and length.
