The minimalist paneling of the Vans Sneakers 2020 and Slip-On lends itself to be adorned entirely with the interplay of beiges and browns against solid black, while the Old Skool retains its original black paneling by the toe, the laceguards and tongue, and the heel counter. Running through the camo-black checkerboard is the usual Jazz stripe in white leather. All three models are paired with pristine white soles and laces for a contrasting finish, complete with Vans’ red tag by the heel sole.

The Vans Sneakers Blue checkerboard features light blue alongside the color-shifting squares, while the Old Skool sees the heat sensitive squares sitting on both the lateral and medial midfoot panels. The Old Skool is then finished with a light blue side stripe and orange panelling. Take a look at the two sneakers in the gallery above and head over to the Vans web store to pick up a pair.

Moreover, Vans Sneakers Women claims that the retail giant directly stole its trademark white jazz stripe, embellishing it across the uppers of the Lace-Up. In addition, the company said that Target decided to deliberately mimic the design to stir up confusion and sell the knockoff. Nevertheless, head over to Target’s website to view the ostensible copycat shoe and stay tuned for updates on the lawsuit.

Checker patterns appear on the medial sides, Vans Old Skool 36 DX Orange while the laterals come in solid tones. Offsetting its rugged outlook, premium suede panels are added to the rear heel quarter and the front toe box, decorated with subtle perforations and white stitches. Other details like rubber foxing placed at the bottom of the midsole and the red heel logo placed upside down finish off the piece; adding a refreshing twist to Vans’ traditional design motifs.
