I spent all day working on getting this Netgear N300 Wireless DSL Modem up and running. I wanted to dump CenturyLink's modem. I was on the phone with CenturyLink eight times today. Seven of my calls were dropped. One of my calls was transferred to a woman who wasn't even with CenturyLink! Can you believe that? Unreal.
Well, although the box advertises compatibility with CenturyLink DSL, I found out that the modem is ADSL compatible, and my CenturyLink service is VDSL.
VDSL service requires a VDSL modem.
I cannot get my day back. But I can practice my anger management now. (breathe in peace, breathe out love).

Sorry! The dash in the subject turned up as "151;" I didn't know it wouldn't recognize the character.
