Well, I started watching Netflix to improve my English a few years ago. I wanted to combine business and pleasure in a way and it did help. It works really well if you watch something that you've already watched before in your first language. Following this logic I started to re-watch my favorite old-but-gold movies, cartoons and series like Merlin, Spirited Away or Van Helsing, you can do it with piratebay top movies
Unfortunately, a great cartoon The Prince of Egypt wasn't available in my country :/
So, I'd definitely suggest to watch these ones - doesn't matter in which language, they're great anyways:)
