I'd like to share a case with you about the issue that MA5800 alarms are abnormal on U2000. Please have a look at the below sections.
Product model: SmartAX MA5800-X7.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION
The customer reported that the synchronization between U2000 and physical devices was faulty. The customer tested the power supply of the OLT and reported that the AC input was abnormal.
The customer claims that U2000 does not display the instant status of events.
The customer tests the connection and disconnection of the power supply on the U2000 platform and checks the connection and disconnection of the power supply. The customer hopes to see the changes in the alarm report immediately.

ISSUE ANALYSIS
1. Analyze the logs generated from the alarm generation time to the actual alarm clearance time.
2. Analyze the logs provided by the customer and find that the source alarm is normal.
3. Check the device logs. The device restarts and the alarm is cleared (the system is restarted and no trap is reported).
4. Analyze the cause of the alarm clearance.
Trigger the serial number synchronization.
Then, the alarm with serial number 111 is cleared on the NMS because the alarm on the device has been cleared.

ROOT CAUSE
U2000 queries the alarms on the NE side and uses them as a reference.
If an alarm exists on the device but does not exist on the NMS, the alarm needs to be reported to the NMS again. Otherwise, the alarms on the NMS are cleared.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION
To prevent this problem from occurring again, you are advised to enable the automatic scheduled synchronization function. The configuration method is as follows:
Step 1. Open the Task Management window.
Step 2. Click Alarm Sync.
Step 3. Right-click and change the value of Status to Idle (that is, change the status from Suspended to Enabled).
This function synchronizes all alarms at a specified time every day.
