The Seattle Seahawks are in a frustrating position in this year's draft. They have four picks in the first three rounds, yes, but the Jamal Adams trade continues to haunt them. While it's beating a dead horse to a degree to discu s the effects of that trade, it needs to be talked about in relationship to the plethora of needs the Seahawks have. The NFC West top to bottom is a ruthle s division, with Bobby Hull Jersey the Rams, 49ers, and Cardinals all coming into 2022 with lofty expectations. The Seahawks, meanwhile, are hoping the 2022 NFL Draft is the continuation of a course correction that began with the trade of Ru sell Wilson to the Broncos for a bevy of picks. While it would be nice to have their own picks, they at least aren't going in empty-handedWhile it Chris Kunitz Jersey 's unlikely Seattle sees Drew Lock as its quarterback of the future, the Seahawks don't nece sarily have to make a play for a QB this year. They have too many other holes to fill. With that being said, there's a chance John Schneider and company take a flier on a quarterback this year, even if it isn't one of the more talked-about QBs in this year's draft. Here's a look at the Seahawks' picks in the 2022 NFL Draft:TSN's NFL DRAFT HQ | | Round 1, Pick No. 9:Charles Cro s, OT, Mi si sippi StateRound 2, Pick No. 40:Boye Mafe, LB, MinnesotaRound 2, Pick No. 41:Kenneth Walker III, RB, Michigan StateRound 3, Pick No. 72:Abraham Lucas, OT, Washington StateRound 4, Pick No. 109:Coby Bryant, CB, CincinnatiRound 5, Pick No. 153: Tariq Woolen, CB, Texas San-AntonioRound 5, Pick No. 158: Tyreke Smith, EDGE, Ohio StateRound Keith Magnuson Jersey 7, Pick No. 229:Bo Melton, WR, RutgersRound 7, Pick No. 233:Dareke Young, WR, Lenoir Rhyne . RoundPick (Overall)19 (from Denver)240 (from Denver)2413724109 (from New York Jets)5145 (from Detroit through Denver)51537229 Left Tackle:It doesn't matter who's under center for the Seahawks this year, they need someone to protect him. The offensive line has never been a particularly strong suit of Pete Carroll's offense, and Duane Brown wasn't retained by Seattle in free agency. Ru sell Wilson won't be scrambling to bail out poor offensive line play anymore. This time, they need to get the position right.Quarterback:Be it this year or in 2023, the Seahawks aren't going to compete with Drew Lock starting. They have to find someone who is going to John Hayden Jersey lead this offense into the future. Unfortunately for them, this year's draft doesn't have much standout quarterback play.Right Tackle:The other bookend of the offensive line, Seattle has to find a right tackle to protect its quarterback. In April, the starter is Jake Curhan. While he's a great story, Curhan probably isn't who the Seahawks want starting in Week 1.Linebacker:Linebacker is thin for the Seahawks after the release of Bobby Wagner, and now they need to do something about it. Even if Wagner's release was deemed nece sary by the team, it's uncharacteristic of Schneider to not have a clearer plan of succe sion on his defense.Wide Receiver:Wide receiver for the Seahawks is preemptive, as D.K. Metcalf's future with the team Anton Forsberg Jersey remains obfuscated. Tyler Lockett has lost a step for Seattle in its pa sing game, so even if it's in the later rounds, taking a receiver makes sense to get a look at someone new in Seattle.MORE: Here are the latest 2022 NFL Draft projections for the Seahawks, :RoundPickPlayerPositionCollege19Malik WillisQBLiberty240Kyler GordonCBWashington241Daxton HillSMichigan372Sam WilliamsEDGEOle Mi s4109Kellen DieschOTArizona State5152Luke GoedekeOTCentral Michigan5153Zyon McCollumCBSam Houston State7229Bo MeltonWRRutgers
