The hits keep coming for the Jets.

The league has announced that cornerback Rashard Robinson has been suspended four games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Robinson was arrested last year for possession of edible marijuana http://www.greenbaypackersteamonline.com/dean-lowry-jersey , which triggered the suspension.

The Jets traded for him last October, which coach Todd Bowles didn’t realize was happening at the time. They gave the 49ers a fifth-round pick for him, and in hindsight that looks even worse.

He only played 20 snaps for them the rest of the year Anthony Castonzo Jersey , which made it unclear what kind of future he had there anyway.

He’s also the second Jet to be suspended in the last week, as wide receiver ArDarius Stewart was hit with a two-game ban for violating the policy on performance enhancing substances.

Minnesota Vikings center Pat Elflein has been placed on the physically unable to perform list prior to the start of training camp, still rounding into form after offseason surgery on his left ankle.

The Vikings made the move Wednesday with Elflein Marquez Valdes-Scantling Jersey , before their first workout for rookies and other selected players. He can be taken off the preseason PUP list at any time, once he's cleared by team doctors for full participation in practice. Head coach Mike Zimmer said Elflein's absence "shouldn't be too long."

Drafted in the third round out of Ohio State last year, Elflein was an immediate starter as a rookie Paul Hornung Jersey , missing two games to a shoulder injury. He hurt his ankle in the NFC championship game.

The first practice for the full team is Saturday.
