Channeling adidas shoes new style themes of the outdoors in conjunction with modern inner-city living, the R1 Trail is built with the urban explorer in mind. Taking the original performance orientated aesthetic of the NMD, it’s been given a rugged makeover with the addition of a ripple outsole, designed to improve grip on unsteady terrain be it in the concrete jungle or mother nature’s back garden.



The softer mesh Adidas NMD R1 from the OG has been overhauled with a hardwearing, weatherproof canvas, further enhanced with a taped seam to keep water out. The rear panel that sweeps around the heel utilises a rough suede texture, rounded off with visible zig-zag stitch running around the light gold bordered edge. Fairly muted in terms of colours, the only real hits are small emerald green touches added to the pulltab on the heel and branded panel on the outsole.
