New Balance’s 247 silhouette is the perfect example of a sneaker company creating a new modernized sneaker while still managing to harken back to its illustrious heritage. Equipped with Revlite cushioning and a ventilated, knit toebox, the
new balance 247 classic is both light weight and comfortable as well as a perfect lifestyle-ready addition to one’s sneaker rotation. This particular offering you see here combines Black and Castlerock on its upper while its midsole features a gradient pattern that starts with black at the heel and eventually finishes with a clean white at the toe.
New Balance’s relatively new 247 silhouette made its debut in 2017, and offered a more modernized feel than most other options the retro band draws up. Taking influence from the 998 and the 574, the
new balance 247 womens is made with knit toe and collar units, while sporting smooth synthetic nubuck quarter panels. NB recently rolled out this new “Candy Pink” color scheme that combines soft pink and grey colors to create and attractive aesthetic that would be a welcome addition to any one’s New Balance collection.
The
new balance 580 mens has already been deconstructed with a premium one-piece suede upper complete with added ventilation, but now the retro running silhouette is getting re-engineered with modern amenities. The New Balance 580 Re-Engineered keeps things simple with nylon, leather and mesh while the tradition REVlite cushioning system keeps a smooth ride intact. The streamlined upper still keeps the original aesthetic and with this clean Black/White colorway, this pair will be hard to pass up on.
Vancouver boutique wings+horns is known for the premium attention to detail and its luxurious creations on retro running models. About a year and a half ago the shop collaborated with the
new balance 580 womens for a murdered out aesthetic draped in black that personified luxury atop a premium performance runner. The New Balance 580 is celebrating two decades of relevance this year, and to honor the celebration, New Balance has teamed up with wings+horns to create two premium takedowns of the updated New Balance 580 Deconstructed.
Miss out on the limited wings+horns
new balance 580 deconstructed last weekend? No worries, as the premium leather rendition of the classic NB 580 will be releasing globally this Saturday, December 20th, 2014.
