At least two Filipino-Americans will be among the over 200 athletes who will represent the United States in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang starting on February 9.

The 27-year-old Celski is already an established star in the Winter Olympics, having won three medals. In 2010 in Vancouver, he won bronze in the 5000-meter relay and 1500-meter individual event, and in 2014 in Sochi he won a silver in the 5,000-meters.
Celski's mother is Filipino while his father in Polish. He will again represent the US in short-track speed skating in the Winter Games.Another American athlete with Filipino roots is 17-year-old Hailey Langland, who will compete in the women's snowboarding big air event.
