The adidas Shoes 2019 just got a little classier with the help of a few luxury materials. They’ve remained a staple for a while now but adidas has just tricked them out with a pretty cool cork update. The adidas Superstar 80s Cork has replaced the sneaker’s rubber toe cap with molded cork clamshell. This is accompanied by a rich suede build that comes in black or tan and regardless to which direction you go both are done tonally. A white outsole finishes the look off perfectly and gives the look a bit of grounding.

This luxurious rendition of the adidas Shoes on sale features a cream leather upper with black and red accents. The three stripe branding on the side panel is simplified with thin black contrast stitching, but the real show-stealing asset is the Yeezy 350 Boost’s rounded suede panel on the medial side. While you’d never confuse a pair of Superstars for a Yeezy Boost, it is cool to see Kasina tinker with the construction in an homage to Kanye’s latest and greatest.


2016 is continuing on the revived adidas adidas superstar 80s Originals Superstar trend that began last year. The classic silhouette of the sneaker has undergone a variety of transformations throughout the year, including an “adicolor” pack, a collaboration with BEAUTY & YOUTH and a recent iteration with a “Triaxial” upper. But adidas isn’t finished yet, as the brand has just unveiled a special premium edition of the Superstar 80s for women. The ultra-luxe update uses the standard shelltoe sneaker as a base and adds a wealth of new material to the upper. It is constructed from a sliced nubuck which has been overlaid with an embossed snakeskin print. The shoe is also accented with premium leather overlays on the heel-tab and three-stripe. Its colorway is simple but clean; a smooth white with black contrasts.


The adidas superstar 80s decon has been around the moon and back, yet it still finds a way to continue to impress us. This time the pair gets an animal print upper that will have you literally walking on the wild side. The iconic sneaker is given a black leather upper with a faux reptile print tossing some texture in the mix. The imitation animal doesn’t stop there, as fuzzy cheetah print finds it’s way onto the stripes and heel tab as well, with off-white rubber wrapping around the toe and on the outsole. They’ve abandoned the branding on the heel but this style of adidas is so infamous you don’t really need it.
