Many times, you must have witnessed that the AOL Desktop Gold software stops working, crashes in between or you see a black screen while working on the software. This issue can arise anytime, and it needs to fix properly, otherwise, there are the chances of the error reoccurring. You must always download AOL Desktop Gold from a trusted source, so as to avoid such errors.

• Go to the official AOL site and download the updated AOL Desktop Gold install file
• Go to the download section and look for the file. Open it and run it as an administrator
• Now, the software will launch automatically and the error would be resolved.
