QuickBooks log file error is usually associated with QuickBooks Web connector error QBWC 1085. This is basically a log file connector issue. You can resolve this error by following the basic troubleshooting guidelines. Since this process can be a tad bit complicated, so it is advised that you take help from QuickBooks customer care for resolving any query.
• Close the QuickBooks Desktop running application and also the web connector.
• Now move to the specific location, c:\ProgramData\Intuit\QBWebConnector\log and rename the TXT file.
• After that again reopen the Web connector and then restart the system to apply the changes.
• After that open the QuickBooks Desktop application and see if the error has been resolved.
