On May 26, 74-year-old Glenda
Moncler Men Down Vests Reynolds loaded up her Yorkie, Glennie Boy, in her car to run a few errands near her Houston home.
"We were going out to the vet, and then I was going to take my little puppy to get some treats," she says.
When she reached an underpass near her home, she didn't think to slow down or back up; the water that had accumulated was brown in color and resembled the cement.
"If you see it, you stop," she says. "But I didn't. I noticed a couple of other cars were stuck, and then I hit the water."
Soon, her car was floating on top of the flooded area, which was several feet high. The driver's-side window wouldn't go down, but the water started seeping in from all directions.
"I said to

But she didn't give up. Moving over to the passenger

One of the first people to hear her screams was Steven Shannon, a 31-year old elementary-school music teacher. His classes had been canceled for the day because of the
Moncler flooding, so he was walking around the neighborhood to look at the damage.
Shannon recalls hearing a screeching noise and a splash before Reynolds started yelling for help.
