The Nike Air Max 97 Black is wrapped in a tonal blue upper, constructed from mesh, nubuck and canvas in different shades of blue ranging from light to dark. The stand-out feature of the silhouette — and the inspiration for its name — is the “Have a Nike Day” taping that wraps around the entire shoe. Today we bring to you a muted down colorway which takes on neutral tones with a slight pop of color. Pairing Anthracite and Wolf Grey atop the mesh and leather construction on the upper, this Air Max 97 is also hit with reflective 3M detailing on the racing stripes. The splash of color comes on the Swoosh logos on the side panels and tongue as well as on the branding on the heel, all which have been done in Flash Crimson. A white midsole with a full-length Air Max unit in white and black rubber outsole complete the design.
