When the users face the issue of their router not working after reset, then the steps that need to be undertaken are as mentioned below:
• The user needs to start by checking whether the router’s power light is on.
• Then on the back of the router, locate the ‘Restore Factory Settings’ option or the reset button.
• Now you have to use a paper clip or a similar object to press and hold the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button for seven seconds.
• After that, you can release the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button.
Once the user has completed these steps accurately, their router would have completed its factory reset. If the users are still encountering some issue, they have the option of contacting Netgear technical support number. This service is accessible through a toll-free number from anywhere around the world.
