It looks like Kendrick’s shout out of the Nike Classic Cortez Floral White Shop only furthered the demand for the classic sneaker as we see it get hit with the NSW treatment with a trio of premium quilted uppers in some autumn ready colorways. Arriving in a surprising quickstrike release, the shoe appears in a predominantly nylon construction in a black, squadron blue, and cargo khaki while leather rounds out each toebox. Each pair sports khaki suede Swooshes above the diamond patterned stitched nylon side panels that gives it a luxurious feel.

After a stint in the tiger camouflage that so many sneakers are rocking these days, the original Nike running shoe gets back to basics with a colorway that ties into its best known regional affiliation. You might call these new Nike Classic Cortez high quality the ‘Kirk Gibsons’, because the Blue Hero colorup for one of SoCal’s favorites most definitely carries with it a Los Angeles Dodgers tie in.

The ‘Asia City Pack’ Quickstrikes were exclusive to the other side of the world, so when news came and went regarding this quartet of Nike Classic Cortez Photo Blue Store QSes, it seemed safe to expect a similar fate. Here’s more evidence to support that conclusion, as a Japanese retailer shows off new shots of the ‘Aloha Print’ floral Cortez foursome. These nylon Cortez lowtops add suede trim to balance out the graphic uppers, and they’re slated to release this Saturd.

Known as a regional favorite in Los Angeles, the Nike Classic Cortez Purple Black Best has seen its core fanbase go so far west that it’s across the Pacific where the majority of significant recent releases have congregated. Good news, then, to see a new Classic Cortez Leather arrive at one of Europe’s top retailers. Nike’s first sneaker, the Cortez, is back in it’s orignal Classic Nylon silhouette and material for the Summer 2009 season and is available now in three colors perfect for the Summer including Powder Blue, Amber Orange, and Bright Peach. All three Classic Cortez Nylon shoes come in a full nylon upper with a White Nike Swoosh and a White outsole.

Arguably the best of 2010’s Year of the Snake releases, the Nike Classic Cortez Liberty Tan Latest just showed off a couple of snake-Swooshed designs being readied for the Chinese New Year celebration. Nike Sportswear also has a few new general releases on tap for the immediate future: three all-suede VNTG makeups that offer that antiqued line a breath of fresh air via metallic gold branding.
