When you disassemble a large piece of furniture, take all the bolts and nuts or whatever, and put them into a small sandwich bag, then use packing tape to attach the bag directly to the piece of furniture. That way you won't lose or misplace them, and they will be handy when you are ready to assemble the piece.

Also, make sure that toilet paper and your tool box are the first things you unpack.

Are you going to move now? I would definitely recommend to go through those tips https://primetexasmovers.com/blog/moving-in-winter-best-or-worst-idea/ And hire some professional team for that. These guys helped my family a lot. We moved last winter to anther state with a big family and two dogs. This company helped us pack, load and unload on a very high level. We are very grateful to heir services.
