Although there may be conflicting reports in regards to when exactly actual year is, adidas Originals has officially announced the 2020 as the 50th Anniversary of its most iconic shoe – the
adidas originals zx flux trainers mens. The timeless shelltoes – a true staple for any lover of the casual/sporty look – has been a consistent mainstay for five decades, even enjoying a rather robust and impressive run as the best-selling shoe in North America for several straight seasons during the brand’s hot streak. That’s all the proof that you need that the Superstar is an all-time classic, and in 2020, it’s on a journey to not only remind the world of its everlasting relevance, but to write the next 50-year-long chapter of its book.

Eponymous label Fiorucci teams up with
adidas originals superstar white black trainers once again, introducing an unmistakably Italian flair to the streetwear-inspired garbs of an island escape. While apparel ranges from one piece bathing suits to cropped athletic hoodies, the footwear is much less expansive though equally strong in its tooling. A casual staple, the slide, arrives with the designer’s name plastered in huge lettering with the accompanying Falcon doing the same though in elegant cursive. Mesh unders add texture underneath the suede overlays sitting a smooth off-white.

adidas and the Hong Kong based retailer JUICE are following up their successful NMD Racer collaboration with a modernized version of the iconic
cheap adidas gazelle trainers sneaker. Upgraded with an all new material developed specifically with this Consortium release in mind, it boasts a woven like upper that is both flexible and adaptive, and offers more support than the brand’s cutting edge Primeknit technology. Serrated Three Stripes keep it rooted within the brand’s heritage, but its oversized crepe sole gives this offering a distinct look all on its own. Finally, JUICE branding and adidas Consortium’s customary handshake logo finish off this look on the insole, while adidas’ Trefoil logo comes engrained on the tongue.

Inspired by the Trompe-l’oeil (French for “deceive the eye”) painting technique, Simons has chosen five silhouettes from the adidas archives — the Micropacer, the LA Trainer, the Torsion Conquest Super, the Samba, and the Peachtree — and superimposed them over the
adidas stan smith primeknit white modeling. Each pair also features intentionally aged details like stains, scuffs, and exposed glue. These unique details aim to bring the past together with the present, and make for an artistic fusion of styles that challenges the observer to spot where one design ends and the other begins. Each shoe is then also accompanied by a matching adilette sandal, another long-time collaborative canvas for the two parties.

Before you look forward to your weekend of sneaker purchasing, take a moment with us to look back on what happened in the sneaker world over the past week. The
adidas zx flux adv sale at last arrived, but not before our retrospective look at the history of the awesome line. On the NSW side there were a few shakeups: Black Suede Foams got a release date and some “Moon Landing” Lunar90s showed up. Elsewhere, the Asics retro range stayed hot with new collab news, a full flashy Air Jordan 13 showed up, and those NIKEiD Kobe 9 Elite Lows made their way into the hands of customers. Check all that out in this edition of the Sneaker News Weekly Rewind after the break.
