A silhouette that was originally introduced in 1971 as part of a German sports initiative adidas entrepot that encouraged the general public to get out of their houses and live a healthy lifestyle, the Trimm Star offers a sleek, classic aesthetic with bold branding. The shoe's defining feature comes via its tri-colored stripes, inspired by the process of video-taping classic soccer matches to VHS, and the colors that were found on VHS box graphics in the 70s.

The adidas Originals ZX 700 Boat was one of the first sneakers to adopt a hybridized deck shoe aesthetic back in 2007, so with Three Stripes reprising some of the last decade's most significant drops, you know these just had to make an appearance.
