In 1972, Bill Bowerman stopped working with Onitsuka and created his own brand, nike cortez herren schwarz. As a designer of the Cortez, he wanted to introduce the shoe to the new brand and a judge had to make the decision. Both Nike and Onitsuka could continue selling the same product, but only Nike had the right to call it Cortez. The different names given to that shoe were not the only changes: almost every season, the Cortez suffered small changes to suit runners. It was the perfect reason to have a thousand new versions to reedit.

For the 45 anniversary of nike cortez ultra moire herrenschuh, the brand is launching some new styles of the model as well as the classic one. Each generation associates their childhood with a determined sneaker model. There are some models, though that have managed to break all the rules of fast fashion. One of them is the Cortez. Eventually, no matter wich generation you are from, every child of the 70's to the present has a Cortez. Either if it is associated with sport, music, tv or Hollywood, Cortez has been present in every kid's childhood. The Nike Cortez, which had been designed in 1972 to support jogging fever, soon made the leap to the stage.

The Cortez trainer was first track shoe to be created by nike cortez ultra moire weiß and was designed by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman whilst the company was still known as Blue Ribbon, specialising in Onitsuka Tiger trainer sales. Bowerman was himself an Olympic track coach at the University of Oregon and wanted to design a shoe durable and comfortable enough for long distance running and training. By adding a raised heel with more rubber, Bowerman aimed to prevent painful Achilles tendon injuries in those who spent many hours training for and taking part in races. The originals were first constructed in leather, however this was later replaced by the nylon and suede uppers which we are familiar with today for their lightweight properties.

Its name changed four times in less than two years, resulting in a moniker that warned a certain German Goliath that David had arrived. But most importantly, even before nike cortez ultra damen was a company, it represented the roots that have nourished more than four decades of Nike’s footwear design tree: CORTEZ.
