Another day, another pair of pink-colored
vans old skool black has surfaced. Unlike the cotton candy pink Old Skool Retro Sport “Blossom,” however, the latest rendition of the classic Old Skool silhouette sees muted rosy hues that are more appropriate for fall. The upper of the shoe is constructed with a mix of textile and suede, and is completed with Vans’ signature branding in white across the lateral. All these sit atop a gum sole that never goes out of style.
For anyone look for an affordable yet stylish
vans old skool womens sneaker for the Fall season, we suggest you take a look at the Vans Old Skool LX Blanc de Blanc. This recently released colorway of the Vans Old Skool opts for a simple yet luxurious finish that consists of a full twill upper accents by the rich suede noted on the overlays. Want even more luxe features? Inside you will find a full leather inner lining to help get you that extra fix. A vulcanized midsole and waffle outsole complete the look of the shoe.
Never straying from bold imagery and subversive content,
vans old skool junior has partnered for a capsule collection featuring the artwork of photographer Andres Serrano, one of the most controversial artists in modern art. Most famous for his photograph Piss Christ, an image that depicts a crucifix submerged in a tank of his own urine, Serrano often creates beautiful images out of unorthodox materials including bodily fluids and religious icons that are inspired by, comment on, and defy his strict Roman Catholic upbringing.
Among Serrano’s most famous works is his Blood and Semen series, which is featured this fall on a capsule collection with Vans for the
vans old skool white, Old Skool, and Chukka. The image titled Blood and Semen II is found printed across each of the sneakers, which accompany a collection of Andres Serrano apparel from Supreme that drops this Thursday, September 21st.
Included in this group are the
vans old skool sale, Old Skool and Sk8-Hi silhouettes featuring Serrano’s “Blood and Semen II” artwork. A similar painting was used for the cover art of heavy metal band Metallica’s 1996 album “Load.”
