Two white variants offer a clean iconiconsale.com summer-ready look, with the first taking on pale-pink accents and the second decorated with metallic gold touches. Finally, the third pair is decked out in black suede and appears to showcase salmon-pink toe boxes, similar to the highly-coveted 2011 “Salmon Toe” release.

Designer Shigeyuki Asics Shoes Sale Mitsui is considered a pioneer of the now ubiquitous sport-meets-style sneaker, and there is perhaps no better emblem of this than the GEL-LYTE™ III model from ASICS. Created in 1990 by Mitsui, his goal was to provide fans with a shoe that married performance and fashion. 30 years later and the design still holds. To mark the occasion of its anniversary, ASICS has released three new color-blocked iterations of the GEL-LYTE™ III shoe, each of which distinctly embodies the bold spirit the sneaker was built on.

Paying homage to its influence over the last three decades, the first colorway reimagines colorblocking seen on the Asics Gel Lyte III OG Misty Pine/Seafoam design from 2009 through 2011. “Techno Cyan” appears on the shoe’s signature split tongue as well as on synthetic suede overlays, the heel stabilizer and outsole. The bright teal hue meshes with a white upper, black laces and overlays and hits of two purple shades for a 90s-inspired aesthetic with a modern twist.

The first “252.1” colorway is modernized, much-needed toned New Release down version of the original as he utilizes a subdued blend of black nubuck, pigskin red at the toe, and hits of gold on the strike logo. Joining the Tokyo Trio is a cherry blossom-inspired “Yoshino Rose” that features a sporty mesh and leather toe and pigskin overlay, and a “Super Gold”, a nod to the now-cancelled Tokyo Olympics.
