The first products of the Dassler family were home slippers and orthopedic shoes for training athletes with disabilities (which were many after the war). The material they used was a written-off military uniform, and the soles were carved out of old automobile tires. In 1924, the Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory was founded.

And those who nowadays buy the goods of well-known brands (with Adidas and Puma logo) often do not even suspect the legends and realities in the history of their success, the passions unfolding around these names, hatred and enmity.
