The first one is to find good lawn service: https://www.propertywerks.ca/ Then, you rake hard enough you will bring up weed seeds and help them to germinate just fine. It is amazing what an effort people put in to helping weeds grow. I did have to pull out 34 dandelions last year, I will admit. They come from my neighbor who cuts his lawn to the ground and has a lawn service to prevent weeds, LOL! Love it.

Improvement of the territory around the house - a complex of measures, including the design of the yard, and zoning the area with a thoughtful arrangement of each zone, and laying paths, and create a lighting system, and decorating and landscaping the garden area. In short, there is a lot of work.

I clean the garden every three days. In the fall, every day. You should also make a habit of watering your lawn daily. On hot days, you must water your garden several times a day. This way, your plants will look fresh for as long as possible. Taking care of your garden is more difficult in fall, but if you make it a habit, you will only enjoy it. If you don't even know what you want your garden to look like, you can ask https://jscustomlandscaping.com, and they will help you. Edited by user Thursday, August 25, 2022 6:06:43 PM(UTC)

My one-year old German Shepherd mix has done a number on my backyard. She loves to dig and has destroyed the grass and plants near our deck. Every time I patch things up or replant, she manages to dig them up again! I want her to have room to play safely, but the yard is starting to be an eyesore. Can anyone recommend a halfway decent landscaping company that has experience dealing with pet damage and creating dog-friendly yards? Maybe there are plants and grasses more suited for curious pups that I could try. I’d appreciate any tips to tackle this issue!

I totally feel your pain with a playful pup in the yard! My retriever was the same, turning our backyard into his personal excavation site. I found a great solution with landscape consulting They have experience in creating dog-friendly spaces that look good and are functional. They recommended some sturdy, pet-friendly plants and a special type of grass that's more resilient to doggy digging. Plus, they helped design a layout that gave my dog his own space to play without ruining the entire yard. It's been a game-changer. The yard looks great, and my furry friend is happy too! Definitely worth checking out for a pet-proof yard solution.
