As a supporting facility for the development of new energy vehicles, the charging pile is the link between the charging pile and the electric vehicle. The quality of the charging gun directly affects the safety of the new energy electric vehicle during the charging process. Although the device is small, it's not small.
During the charging process of the new energy electric vehicle, the charging current of the charging gun is large, especially when the charging current is very large, the temperature of the charging gun will rise, and the shell of the charging gun will be heated and expanded, which will cause the charging gun to be very difficult after charging. It is difficult to unplug from the charging socket, which also poses a safety hazard.
At present, the temperature detection system installed in the charging gun - the temperature control switch has played a great role, using bimetal temperature sensing to set the temperature protection value, so as to control the temperature of the charging gun. The temperature control switch in the charging gun monitors the temperature of the charging gun plug and the controller motherboard respectively. When the charging temperature reaches the preset temperature, the temperature control switch of the charging gun will automatically cut off the power supply, stop charging, limit the temperature rise, and start charging again after the temperature drops. This can effectively prevent safety hazards such as spontaneous combustion or socket melting due to excessive temperature during charging.
