Nike’s Air Max is Nike shoes Promotions Sale celebrating 27 years of visible air goodness. As part of the celebration, an oldie — but goodie — has returned. The Air Max 98 has been retroed 16 years after the original was first introduced, staying very true to it’s roots.

Known for its bolder Nike Men shoes new design and curvier lines in comparison to its predecessor, the Air Max 97, the Air Max 98’s unique look has had many waiting for a proper return. Nike did not disappoint with this reproduction of the runner.

Staying true to its OG form, Nike women shoes Comfortable the upper is made up of mesh, leather and textile paneling. The key detail of a reflective stripe running around the body is present along with reflective striping on the heel tab and two middle eyelets. Other features seen on the upper include Swooshes on the side panel and toebox, a unique external lace overlay system, and an asymmetrical tongue design. Following the lead of the Air Max 97, the 98 borrows the same full-length Max Air unit for it’s cushioning needs.


After receiving a warm Nike Air Max 98 welcome back last month with the re-issue of the OG ‘Gundam’ colourway, we’re starting to see a rollout of many more renditions of Nike’s Air Max 98, a shoe that celebrates it’s 20th anniversary this year. The aesthetic of the technical runner means you’ve always got a lot of different options to play with in terms of colour blocking and material application. This GMT variation adds an extra panel into the mix, branded up with the iconic ‘AIRMAX’ stamp (a logo combining both words which has confused a lot of people over the years!) on the instep. Gold wraps around the toeguard surround and also features on the mini-swoosh and strapping.
