Daratumumab 400 mg injection is used to treat certain types of cancer of plasma cells i.e. multiple myeloma. It is given intravenously in a medical facility. The common side effects of the injection include swollen tongue, mouth, lips, or face, constipation, insomnia, back pain, and trouble breathing. It also reduces blood cell count which leads to increased susceptibility to infections. This injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
