Barbara Bray Edwards is an American singer-actress best known for her role in The Andy Griffith Show. She is the first wife of the late great singer-comedian Andy Griffith. She was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, on August 17, 1926. Barbara was a brilliant singer and dancer who performed in various shows and musicals in her hometown.
