Problem Description

The TNF1DFIU board of the OSN1800V device is displayed as a large slot in the network management system. The actual physical board is composed of two small FIUs. How to confirm the cause of the fault when the PORT_MODULE_OFFLINE alarm is reported on the DFIU board.

Solution

According to the logical port display of the OSN1800V network management F1DFIU logical port 7 and 8 points represent the westward FIU (WFIU) and eastward FIU (EFIU) of the 19th slot F1DFIU; when the WFIU or EFIU board is not inserted or the board is not in place, F1DFIU It will report the PORT_MODULE_OFFLINE alarm,

When the location information is 0-subrack-19-DFIU-7(WFIU)-CARD:1, it means that the westward WFIU board in slot 19 is not inserted or the board is not in place;

When the location information is 0-subrack-19-DFIU-8(EFIU)-CARD:1, it means that the east EFIU board in slot 19 is not inserted or the board is not in place;
