The American Tennis adidas summer shoes player, Stan Smith, began wearing the first leather tennis shoes in 1971. After two successful seasons, Adidas decided to name the white leather shoe after Stan. Since 1973, the Stan Smith trainer has gone from the tennis court to the urban streets. adidas Originals Adidas Stan Smith releases the Stan Smith Suede Pack comprised of two all-new color schemes: Navy and Maroon. These models feature a suede upper accompanied with a leather heel tab. Other style elements include: metal eyelets, perforated branding on side panels, branding on the tongue, heel pulls, and a rubber outsole.
