The NFL roster of game officials for the upcoming season includes seven rookies among the 121.
The newcomers announced Friday are: field judges Land Clark of the Pac-12
Authentic Mike Evans Jersey , Matt Edwards and Don Willard of the Big Ten, and Anthony Jeffries of the SEC; side judge Chad Hill of the SEC; back judge Tony Josselyn of the SEC; and line judge Mark Stewart of the Big 12.
The league also promoted Shawn Hochuli, Alex Kemp, Clay Martin and Shawn Smith to referee. Each was a referee at college football’s top division before entering the NFL at different positions. Hochuli and Kemp are the sons of former NFL referees Ed Hochuli and Stan Kemp.
Officials Mike Spanier and Mike Weatherford will not be assigned to crews. They’ll work with different crews throughout the season.

Receivers have stolen the show in all three episodes of Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cleveland Browns. In Week One, it was Jarvis Landry‘s speech in the receivers room. Last week, it was Antonio Callaway‘s arrest and Corey Coleman‘s trade.
On Tuesday night, Dez Bryant‘s visit to Cleveland highlighted the show with Josh Gordon‘s return also featured.
Bryant, who arrived with his agent, Kim Miale, was shown shaking hands and hugging nearly everyone in the building. He seemed to hit it off with Hue Jackson during a sit-down in the coach’s office.

The Cowboys, who drafted Bryant in the first round in 2010, released Bryant on April 13, making him a free agent for the first time. The Ravens offered him a three-year, $21 million deal, but Bryant turned it down.
