The Detroit Lions added depth in the backfield Ryan Murray Jersey , signing LeGarrette Blount and re-signing Zach Zenner.

Detroit signed both players Friday to compete with Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick for carries this year.

Blount, an unrestricted free agent, ran for a team-high 766 yards and two touchdowns during the regular season last year in Philadelphia and scored three touchdowns during the Eagles' Super Bowl-winning run. He previously played for the New England Patriots Reggie White Jersey , who used to employ Detroit general manager Bob Quin and coach Matt Patricia.

Blount, who has also played for Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh, has run for 5 Braydon Coburn Jersey ,888 yards and 51 touchdowns in his career along with catching 54 passes for 387 yards and two scores.

Zenner, who was a restricted free agent this offseason, played in eight games last season and ran for 26 yards and a TD. Over his three-year career with the Lions Markus Granlund Jersey , Zenner has 119 carries for 420 yards and five touchdowns along with 20 receptions for 207 yards.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Panthers coach Ron Rivera says rookie wide receiver D.J. Moore has “chastised” after the first-round draft pick from Maryland was cited for driving approximately 113 mph in a work zone in Interstate 77 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The speed limit is 65 mph.

Moore was ticketed by North Carolina State Highway Patrol on Aug. 10 just before 3 a.m. Ronnie Lott Jersey , shortly after the team returned from its preseason game against the Buffalo Bills. Moore was on his way home and was cooperative with state troopers.

Rivera said Moore informed the team immediately of his mistake and was remorseful.

Rivera said Tuesday it’s an opportunity for Moore — and the other young players on the team — “to learn and realize you have a responsibility to the community.”

Moore has a court date set for October.
