Labor is chasing its third term in tomorrow's poll, while the Country Liberals (CLP) will be trying to claw back seats to ensure the party's viability.
It is a good time to go to the polls, with the NT in the midst of the dry season and with a strong economy thanks largely to the resources sector.
In fact Chief Minister Paul Henderson called the election 11 months early,

With the Japanese company INPEX deciding whether to build a $12 billion LNG plant in Darwin or off Western Australia, Mr Henderson told voters political certainty was needed.

Labor has had a relatively smooth campaign. One Darwin punter has even placed a $100,000 bet on a Labor win.
