The Crusher For Minings is the equipment that used to separate the iron from the mud, it also called slurry separator. With the increasing performance requirement of the porcelain products, many countries have carried out extensive work on the efficient slurry separator and got some achievements. Currently, the SH-XTQ type and CST-162 series slurry separator that produces by our country has l.2T magnetic flux density. It not only can remove the ferromagnetic metallic iron like iron, but also can remove mud weakly magnetic minerals like iron oxide.

1. Magnetic pulley separator

The magnetic pulley separator has the advantage of simple structure and wide use, it often been installed in the belt conveyor to replace the discharge end pulley. It is also referred to as electromagnetic pulley; its shape is similar to the drum.

The wheel housing of the electromagnetic pulley is a steel casting with electromagnetic coil which surface shows magnetic, it is mounted on the hollow shaft, the wire of the coils connects with the electric brush through the slip ring. The surface of the steel casting has a protective layer which is made of copper or rubber.

When materials reach the surface of the pulley with the help of belt, the iron particles are sucked and other materials will roll down from the belt surface. When a certain period of the belt continues to move and gradually away from the sliding surface, the magnetic induction of the iron filings in this belt is gradually weak and it will fall down when the suction is not enough to overcome the gravity.

2. Suspended magnetic separator

Suspended magnetic separator is an electromagnetic magnet with two horseshoe-shaped magnetic poles. It is suspended on the belt conveyer where the materials will flow through. The distance between the surfaces of the pole and the surface of material layer should be as close as possible. The thing we should notice is that we should clear the iron from the pole surface regularly.
