Continuing its introduction of retro-inspired sneakers, adidas recently unveiled a follow up to its popular adidas Cyber Monday 2018 model.Dubbed the Yung 96, the upcoming silhouette serves as a sleeker take on the chunky look that has taken over the sneaker world in recent months. Debuting in a “Cloud White/Crystal White” colorway, the sneaker features a multi-material upper characterized by an array of complementary panels and an off white sculpted sole unit. Branding on the shoe comes in the form of the Three Stripes arrangements at the midfoot and Trefoil badges on the tongue and heel portion.

adidas continues to pay adidas Cyber Monday for sale homage to the past with a new colorway of the Yung-1. The model has seen a select amount of color options from monochromatic themes to bright iterations and a few collabs. Today, the sneaker gets a “Triple Black” theme. Mesh and nubuck are added to the upper which is supported by a thick rubber outsole. adidas Three Stripes are blended onto the lateral and medial sides with its trefoil stamp found on the tongue.



Both models take on adidas yung inspiration from the neon yellow smiley face which rose to represent the culture in the '80s, with the Yung-1 in particular taking on a mostly yellow look. The Falcon is more reserved in comparison, using a white-based upper with grey and black accents while yellow is used sparingly. Both the Yung-1 and Falcon feature a smiley face graphic on their insoles.




adidas’ new chunky adidas yung white womens sneaker is set to take on its cleanest colorway yet, by way of this angelic “Cloud White” color scheme. A near replica of 1997’s Falcon Dorf silhouette, this slightly modified version comes equipped with less branding than that model from over twenty years ago as the Performance logos are replaced with a simple tre-foil logo at the tongue. We’ve already seen the shoe launch in the orange/navy and even as part of collaborative affairs withe WARDROBE.NYC, while the upcoming adidas Dragon Ball collection is also set to house this revived model in a Frieza-inspired purple and white motif.
