In the times of DeviousMUD to the launching of Old School Runescape, Runescape continues to grow and morph around major and minor updates alike. Menaphos, the latest expansion-style upgrade to the MMO because 2014, buy runescape mobile gold marks the beginning of a new era for this beloved MMO, among huge add-ons released every few months instead of devoting weekly updates.

Following the division between Runescape and Old School Runescape in 2013, the current game has floundered for its identity amid a turning torrent of competitors that all claim to be offering something'unique' to lovers of the game.

Fans of Runescape know what they're getting from Old School Runescape with its simple - yet reliable - combat system. Fervent lovers of PvP refuse to depart the 2007 version of Runescape behind however much new content now's Runescape has to offer. Menaphos is a confident and assured answer to the question of what Runescape brings to the table: characterful story, heaps of PvE content, and an unconventional solution to the MMORPG grind. Here's why Menaphos is the most significant update in the previous four decades of Runescape.

When Jagex released Prifddinas, The Lost City of the Elves, three decades ago, it was among the biggest content upgrades that the game had ever obtained. Menaphos is even larger. That's not a facile comparison. Menaphos is a proper urban sprawl on par with Varrock: you can enter virtually every building, have a distinct conversation with nearly every NPC, and research a couple of OSRS gold secret locations further afield if you've experienced everything the Golden City has to offer you. To call the expansion Menaphos is even doing it a little injustice, as there are in fact two cities to explore beyond the walls - Menaphos and Sophanem, it's anagrammed opposite.
