The grade point average (GPA) is based on the grades that you will get during each semester. However, keep in mind that GPA will evaluate the performance of a student. GPA also determines that which educational institute will accept you.

How to calculate GPA:

Take your result card or transcript


For every A you will add 4 points


For every B you will add 3 points, etc


Start adding up all of your points


After adding, you will divide that number by the how many letter grades you have.

Some educational institutes may count for plus and minus such as A+ or B+. You can adjust your points somewhat and these points may count differently.

Select your grade format


To figure out your GPA, you can select your current grade format, percentage grade or said to be a letter grade. Before the final report card, you can request your teacher to provide your grades. The range of letter grades from A+ to an F on the 4.0 scale.


Enter Your Current GPA (Optional)


You should enter total credits and your current GPA that you have taken after that GPA calculator starts calculating your GPA by factoring in your current GPA. This calculation is optional.


Customize your semester name (Optional)


This is also an optional step that you can customize your semester name to make it easy.


Add all courses to calculate your GPA


In this format you can add your courses:


Course Name


Grade (Percent grade or Letter)


Credits (Leave it as 1 if not known)


Course Type (Regular, AP, Honors etc.)


Add another semester


If you would like to calculate multi-semester GPA then you can add another semester.
