Early this year, according to resources, Giant Google has officially reversed the financial products ban in general and crypto ad ban in specific.

It is strongly believed that this decision was incredibly affected by Facebook, the global largest social network. Facebook also made a similar statement in a wave of crypto advertisement bans earlier this year in order to protect its 3 billion users from fraudulent offerings.

According to that, Google once said that it was trying to protect its customers from frauds, including but not limited to “initial coin offerings, cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice.”.  All crypto business were not allowed to advertise on Google exclusive platforms. The company denied to make any public comment on this.

However, according to the close resources, Google has reversed the crypto ad ban since this October. It is reported by CNBC that the global largest searching engine would reallow registered cryptocurrency exchanges to advertise on its Google Adwords platform, targeting the U.S. and Japanese audiences.

This decision follows the statement made by Facebook in June when they reversed their crypto ad ban. Initially, the bans were made by these two companies in the context that a great number of Internet users had been suffered from ICO frauds.
