Hi everyone,
My setup is the G540 driver and Mach3 software. I think everything is setup correctly, but my engine seems to be acting a little weird. When the stepper motor (https://www.oyostepper.com/) is on the bench, I can only get the motor to get to 140 IPM (711RPM) before it stalls. The curve shown by the manufacturer's torque/tachometer extends to 1,200 rpm. Also, at any rpm, the engine seems to stutter or stutter every microsecond it spins. The stuttering is very noticeable, and if I place the motor on the bench and spin it, the motor slowly dies away. I did a test drive at Mach, and 25kHz is pretty good. I adjusted the motor as much as I could with the G540's potentiometer, but I feel like I should be able to get to 200 IPM quickly during bench testing, and shouldn't hear the stuttering noise that comes with this issue.
