The
Air Jordan XIX (19) “Bred” was first released on May 8th, 2004 which was inspired by the most dangerous/deadliest snake on earth, the Black Mamba (Yes, Michael Jordan used the Black Mamba inspiration before Kobe). The next frontier of flight. The new
Air Jordan XXX arrives in a fresh new colorway honoring MJ’s UNC roots. The shoe features a White and University Blue gradient upper, White midsole and an icy outsole. As for weight, the Air Jordan 30 is a little heavier than the Air Jordan 29, but the weight difference is insignificant. You won't notice it while playing; the 30 still feels light on-feet during games. The materials seem to be durable as well at this point, although the final judgment on durability remains wide open. Overall, the materials in the 30 are great, and they are somewhat of an upgrade from the 29 when you take a more detailed comparative look at both shoes.
A few years back,
Air Jordan 11 Brand made a big splash in the lifestyle department with the Air Jordan 11-inspired Jordan Future silhouette. The combination of a seamless woven upper, asymmetrical lacing construction, and familiar icy outsole unit made the Jordan Future hard to pass up on. The Jumpman has since moved on to other endeavors, but now they’re bringing the blueprint back this winter for the Jordan Future Boot.Today we get a first detailed look at the Jordan Future Boot, as the traditional icy Air Jordan 11 outsole stays intact with bolstered boot-like grooves to help you withstand the winter elements in style. The Cool Grey upper sees an interwoven Jacquard pattern with varying degrees of dark gey’s forming a near argyle pattern. Air Jordan 12-inspired lace eyelets mix with more traditional workboot elements while a leather tongue tab features embossed Jumpman branding.
The
Air Jordan 23 were designed by Tinker Hatfield, who wanted to make an eco-friendly sneaker that didn’t rely heavily on toxic and harmful glues. The result was a sneaker that merged utilitarian stitching with elegant embroidered design in its construction. Tinker, who is known for hidden details even added Michael Jordan’s initials in the stitching pattern. To finish off the shoes Tinker added Jordan’s thumb print to the bottom soles, a feature that not only is creative but is also practical as it provides traction on the floor.
