If you find that you Brother Printer cannot detect the ink cartridge you can follow the steps given below to the cartridge and try and solve the problem:
• Step 1: Turn the printer off, wait for a few minutes, then turn it back on
• Step 2: Lift the printer lever on the left and open the cover
• Step 3: Press the “Cancel” and “Print” buttons simultaneously
• Step 4: Tap the “+” button and scroll down to the ink cartridge you want to reset, then press ‘Ok.’
