As we know large PST file can cause issue and if this issue not resolves on time it can corrupt complete PST file. When a PST reaches its maximum size, it starts creating quandaries like performance issue and corruption. There are several manual ways to handle a big Outlook PST file.

Compacting PST:

• Open MS Outlook, go to File, Info

• Account Settings, Account Settings, Data Files

• Choose PST file, Settings, Compact Now, and OK

Archiving Old Mails:

• Go to the file tab, Info, Tools, Clean up Old Items

• From the box “Archive”, choose Archive this folder and all subfolders, choose the file/folder to archive.

• Check Mark the button with Consist of items with Do not Auto Archive checked to archive the files that you do not want to include in automatic archiving.

• Smash OK
